New European award for Greek Air Athlete

New distinction of Greek Aeroathlete, Leone Gabardella, athlete of the TALOS Aeroclub of Heraklion, in the CEVA OPEN 2024 Spanish Aerobatic Championship held at the airport of Valladolid Matilla.

The Spanish Aerobatic Championship (CEVA), was organized by the Aerobatic Club and the Royal Spanish Aeronautical Federation (RFAE). It is an event with the best aerobatic pilots in Spain, together with prominent international competitors from Slovenia, Greece and Belgium, who participated in the Open category.

Valladolid, is the official headquarters of CEVA, which brought together 22 pilots from Spain to win the title of Classic and Freestyle Champion. The championship was held on 19, 20 and 21 September 2024.

During the championship, pilots competed in Unlimited, Advanced, Intermediate, Sports and Elementary and Freestyle categories.

Leone Gabardella managed to distinguish himself in two categories:

• 3rd in CEVA Freestyle Open 2024

• 3rd in CEVA Unlimited Open 2024
